COVID-19 Response Update

Our president, governor and county have confirmed what we have all been longing for, coming back together! Hemet church has opened up its doors at both 8:30am and 10:30am. We have been given guidelines on how we may relaunch our church and we are limited to 75 individuals in our Worship Center. There are a few other precautions we also are required to take. We will continue to practice social distancing and hand sanitizer will be available to the entire body. We request that you wash your hands frequently.

Governor Newsom published an update on June 18th regarding the requirements of wearing face masks in public spaces. As a result, we have to make some minor adjustments to our soft-launch services. The new guidelines state that individuals must wear face masks in any public spaces, which includes our church. There are some exemptions to the mandate, we encourage you to read it here and decide for yourself if you are included in any of them.

During this season, all children’s ministries will begin at the beginning of each service directly in their classrooms. This means all children will bypass worship time in the worship center. The message will be live as well as the offering, however our worship will be virtual on our brand new 85 inch screens.

Hemet church believes every soul is important to God. Therefore, we seek to serve each member of our body based on their unique and specialized needs. We will all be sensitive to each other’s needs as we dwell together in unity and we are providing options to gather with us online so that our entire church body is included, not excluded.

Please stay tuned for future updates as we communicate our strategy for relaunching our Sunday and Thursday evening celebration services. These are unprecedented as well as exciting times. We are confident that as we reconnect together in the three dimensional, our God is going to show up in new, fresh and supernatural ways. We are grateful for and love each and every one of you.

God’s Favor is on You,

Pastor Bill and Marj Wolfson

Living Conversation - April 22

During this season, it is much easier to preach Philippians 4:6 than to actually do what it says. We want to remind you as often as possible that though we are in trying times, God has not forsaken us. In the midst of isolation, technical difficulties, and anxiety, God is working to refine us. This season, though it seems like a crisis, is really an opportunity. Continue to take advantage of this season of opportunity by staying connected with your church family. Join us on Facebook or Hemet.Church for our live services, connect with each other on Zoom, and interact with the content we post daily on Facebook and Instagram. This Sunday Pastor Bill is beginning a new message on this very topic; Crisis or Opportunity. We cannot wait to connect with you then!

Exciting news – Youth Camp is happening, and it’s coming fast! With this camp coming up in less than a month, it is a difficult task to get our youth fundraising opportunities to help them afford the cost. We are asking you to contribute in any way you can to helping our students attend camp.

Camp is an excellent opportunity for students in 6th to 12th grade to engage or reengage with their faith. Our camp site this year is at Rancho Shalom Christian Conference Center in Sky Valley, California. The youth will be going from Sunday, July 19 to Thursday, July 23. The total cost per camper is $220 plus $5 for their camp shirt. Our goal is to raise $3,000 to help sponsor our campers and pay for other expenses such as transportation.

If you would like to contribute to a camper attending camp, you can do so through PushPay by going online to www.Hemet.Church/giving, texting “hemetgive” to 77977, or through the Hemet Church mobile app. You can also give any cash or checks in person at our soft-launch services.

If you are interested in sending a student to camp, please contact Tricia by emailing her at Tricia@Hemet.Church

We are so excited to have this opportunity for our students and we thank you in advance for your generosity.

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, of love, and of soundness of mind.

Meet our Pastors

Bill & Marj Wolfson

On December 2, 2018 Bill and Marj left the Pacific North West where they served as Lead Pastors of Church For All Nations for 30 years. The Lord burdened their heart that led to a vision for the Hemet, California region. Since their arrival, the church has added a second Sunday morning service with the help of the incredible people of Hemet! Bill is a passionate communicator of the Gospel and is known for messages that are relevant to everyday life. He employs a humorous style that allows the Holy Spirit to do His surgery on the hearts of His listeners. Bill’s beautiful wife Marj is known for her leadership and advocacy for turning children into genuine disciples of Jesus! Her influence on teaching younger women to love their husbands is refreshing. HCA is a multicultural AND multigenerational family. Bill and Marj have 5 children and 4 grandchildren!
