COVID-19 Update

We’re Back!

Dear Church Family,

Our governor and county officials have confirmed that we have moved from Purple to Red in the COVID-19 reopening process! Hemet church is opening up its doors both 8:30am and 10:30am beginning this Sunday, September 27th.

We have been given guidelines on how we may relaunch our church and we are limited to 75 individuals in our Worship Center. There are a few other precautions we also are required to take. Face masks and social distancing will be required, and hand sanitizer will be available to the entire body. We request that you wash your hands frequently.

Hemet church believes every soul is important to God. Therefore, we seek to serve each member of our body based on their unique and specialized needs. There will be members of the baby boomer and great generation who, due to age and/or underlying conditions, will choose to worship our Lord and interface with our body via our digital footprint. That is so appropriate. We will all be sensitive to each other’s needs as we dwell together in unity and we are providing multiple options so that our entire church body is included, not excluded. We do ask if you are feeling sick or not well that you stay at home and enjoy our digital services. We look forward to you joining us in person once you feel well again.

There will be a few noticeable changes to our worship services. Our children are foundational to the future of our body. During this season, all children’s ministries will begin at the beginning of each service directly in their classrooms. This means all children will bypass worship time in the worship center.

Please stay tuned for future updates as we communicate our strategy for relaunching our Sunday and Thursday evening celebration services. These are unprecedented as well as exciting times. We are confident that as we reconnect together in the three dimensional, our God is going to show up in new, fresh and supernatural ways. We are grateful for and love each and every one of you.

– Hemet Church Team

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, of love, and of soundness of mind.

– 2 Timothy 1:7

A Place to Grow

Come as you are. You Belong! Regardless of where you are on your spiritual journey, you Belong! We are a fellowship that does not tolerate people, we celebrate them. We are completely invested in what Jesus laid his love down for — YOU!!!! When you walk through the doors of your new community here at HCA you will know immediately that you are home!

Living Conversation

Last Friday, October 2nd, marked the beginning of Sukkot, also known as the Festival of Booths. This moadim continues through this Friday, October 9th. Hemet Church values the Jewish roots of our faith in Christ, so we are going to take some special time this Thursday to celebrate Sukkot.

Join us online this Thursday, October 8th at 7pm as we hit the pause button on the Book of James and spend some time studying Sukkot. Pastor Bill has a special message on the festival as well as its impact on the Christian faith.

After our Thursday evening service, we will also be having a special 30 minute Church After Church to engage in celebrating Sukkot. The Zoom room will begin at 8:30pm, 15 minutes earlier than it normally does, and the meeting link and number will be the same as it normally is.

Meet our Pastors

Bill & Marj Wolfson

On December 2, 2018 Bill and Marj left the Pacific North West where they served as Lead Pastors of Church For All Nations for 30 years. The Lord burdened their heart that led to a vision for the Hemet, California region. Since their arrival, the church has added a second Sunday morning service with the help of the incredible people of Hemet! Bill is a passionate communicator of the Gospel and is known for messages that are relevant to everyday life. He employs a humorous style that allows the Holy Spirit to do His surgery on the hearts of His listeners. Bill’s beautiful wife Marj is known for her leadership and advocacy for turning children into genuine disciples of Jesus! Her influence on teaching younger women to love their husbands is refreshing. HCA is a multicultural AND multigenerational family. Bill and Marj have 5 children and 4 grandchildren!
